Create your workspace
Sign up, create your workspace, and walk the onboarding checklist that turns an empty account into a working customer operation.
A workspace is your organization inside Hark. Everything you create (inboxes, boards, articles, widgets, team members) lives inside it and is isolated from every other workspace.
Sign up and create the workspace
You can create an account with an email and password, an email magic link, or a GitHub or Google sign-in. The person who creates the workspace becomes its primary owner: the single member who can delete the workspace or transfer that ownership on.
During signup you name the workspace and choose its address. From there you land in the workspace app.
The onboarding checklist
New workspaces open on a guided checklist that tracks the first useful steps, in any order. Each step's checkmark reflects real workspace data, not a box you tick by hand, and the checklist hides once you mark setup as done. The steps are:
- Create your first feedback board. A board is where customer requests, votes, and ideas live.
- Invite a teammate. Share the work by adding the people who will answer customers with you.
- Set your office hours. Tell customers when your team is around so replies feel on time.
- Open a way for customers to reach you. Publish a chat widget for your site, or connect an AI provider so it can answer for you.
The workspace app at a glance
- Inbox is where conversations land and get worked.
- Live is the real-time chat console and queue.
- Boards, Roadmap, Changelog, Help center, Status are your customer-facing surfaces.
- Tasks are your internal work boards.
- Analytics reports on your operation.
- Settings is where owners and admins configure everything above.
