Help center
Publish self-serve articles organized into collections, gather helpfulness feedback, and feed the same content to AI answers and widget search.
The help center is your workspace's own knowledge base: the articles customers read to answer their own questions. It is per-workspace content (distinct from these product docs, which describe Hark itself), and it is one of the highest-leverage things you can invest in, because a good article resolves an issue before it becomes a ticket.
Collections and articles
Articles are grouped into collections (for example, Getting started, Billing, Troubleshooting). Each collection has a name, an optional icon and description, and an order. An article has a title, an optional excerpt, a body, and a locale, and it is either a draft or published. Only published articles in a public collection are visible to customers.
Helpfulness feedback
Each article can gather a helpfulness verdict from readers (was this helpful, yes or no). Verdicts are deduplicated per reader (by account for signed-in customers, by a privacy-preserving fingerprint for anonymous readers) and rolled up into helpful and not-helpful counts on the article. This tells you which articles are working and which need a rewrite, and it feeds the loop where marking an article helpful strengthens your knowledge base.
Where articles show up
Published articles appear in several places at once:
- The help center itself, as a browsable site at your workspace's public address (the owner publishes the public site once, from Boards, and the help center goes live along with your boards, roadmap, and changelog).
- The chat widget's home, through the search-help and suggested-articles modules.
- AI answers: flows and the bot can search your help content to ground a reply, and the copilot can draft new articles.
Managing content
Agents can manage the help center (create, edit, and publish articles), which makes it a shared responsibility rather than an admin bottleneck. View counts and the helpfulness signal help you keep the library sharp over time.
